From the time I began my career sweeping the floor at my uncle's salon to the time I opened the doors to Shag86 in 2004, I've felt a passion for the industry. I wanted to lead a team that felt equally passionate about making people feel great about themselves and how they look, while having some fun along the way. That is true success! One of the highlights of my career was receiving an award for raising money for breast cancer awareness. It was a joy to create Salons for the Cure in partnership with CBCF (Cure Breast Cancer Foundation) to help raise funds for such a wonderful cause.
We have a great facility and a great team. Our industrially-inspired salon was designed to encourage an upbeat, positive flow through its unique, spacious layout. But it's our team that makes it happen. Creative artists are carefully selected based on their passion and strong work ethic. Educational classes are provided to help our team stay inspired and stay on top of the latest trends. Greatest of all, our client’s happiness is our top priority. We invite our guests here to have a good time and leave feeling even better with their fresh new style.
As the owner, my two greatest passions are supporting my staff and treating our guests with the utmost respect. I love seeing clients walking out the door with a great new look and a beaming smile. This is supported by mentoring and supporting my staff. I have the opportunity to witness them grow in character and professionalism. This is the key to our success at Shag 86.
